About this property

1,090 acres of Big Thicket country inside the Lumberton city limits, on the floodplains of Village Creek and the Neches. The ground climbs from cypress-tupelo swamp through mixed pine and hardwood to longleaf pine savanna on the sand, one of the rarest forest types in North America.

These are drawn hunts. You must apply in advance and be selected — you cannot simply turn up. Being drawn is not guaranteed, and a permit for one hunt does not admit you to another. Each block below is one hunt — one application covers every animal listed in it. Apply through Texas Parks & Wildlife.
