About this property
4,141 acres of upper-coast marsh and beach between the Sabine ship channel and McFaddin refuge. Highway 87 splits it: about two miles of sand and low dune on the Gulf side, and behind that brackish ponds, bayous and tidal drains with Fence and Salt lakes among them. Otter, mink and alligator work the water; the ducks stack up through the cold months.
