About this property

Lake Striker and its shore, straddling the Rusk–Cherokee county line eighteen miles out of Henderson to the south-west, in the Neches basin. A water district dammed Striker Creek in 1957 to supply towns, a power plant's cooling water and a paper mill; the country around it is flat-to-rolling sandy loam under pine and water-tolerant hardwood.
