About this property
10,888 acres of Corps of Engineers ground around Granger Lake, on the San Gabriel River in the Blackland Prairie north of Taylor in Williamson County, in two named pieces — the Willis Creek unit and the Pecan Grove unit. The Corps dammed the river in the 1970s for flood control on the Brazos system; the hunting land is the margin it holds around the pool.
