About this property
1,847 acres in Leon County, midway up I-45 between Houston and Dallas, named for an 1840 settlers' fort. Rolling wooded hills give way to bottomland meadow and wetland around 15-acre Sullivan Lake, and in wet years a good deal of it goes under — good waterfowl ground.
