5,328.3 acres of limestone canyon on the west bank of the Colorado River above Lake Buchanan, in San Saba and Lampasas counties. Springs do the work here: Gorman Falls drops seventy feet over live travertine, and Spicewood Springs Creek cuts a deep canyon at the south end.
