About this property
15,200 acres of thick South Texas brush in La Salle and Dimmit counties, about 100 miles southwest of San Antonio. TPWD has run "the Chap" as a research and demonstration area since 1969, and the deer, quail and javelina work done here is passed on to private landowners.
