About this property
8,045 acres in Marion and Harrison counties, climbing from cypress swamp that never drains, through bottomland hardwood that floods with the season, to dry pine and hardwood ridges. Caddo Lake was named a wetland of international importance in 1993, largely for the waterfowl it carries.

All deer harvested on Nov. 7-8 and 14-15 must be checked at the designated deer check station (sunrise-7:00 p.m.); deer harvested outside those weekends must be reported to 430-502-2246 within 12 hours.
