Public Hunting Program (Leased Private Land)
La Playa
- Annual Public Hunting Permit
About this property
Twelve hundred and eighty acres in two blocks north of Cactus, built around the playa that gives it its name and the stream that feeds it. A designated road runs between the blocks.
This is the one Canadian River unit where a vehicle may stay on the ground, provided it stays on the designated roadway. It also keeps its own closure — the fourth to the tenth of October, rather than the third to the fifteenth like the rest.
