Public Hunting Program (Leased Private Land)
South China Road
- Annual Public Hunting Permit
About this property
A thousand acres of rice prairie south of the town of China, squared off by South China Road, McDermand Road and Johnson Road with a gully cutting the north-east corner. Flat worked ground that holds water, and birds with it.
This is one of the broader cards in the lease program: dove and early teal, then North Zone ducks and Eastern Zone geese through the winter, Wilson's snipe, and rabbits taken alongside. A youth and veteran waterfowl season runs here as well. Shotguns only, and the standing crops are to be left alone.
